The Cover That Judges You is an interactive artwork that turns the tables and uses the latest technology to flip this idiom.
The cover scans your face with face recognition software. If you show any judgement on your face, like smiles, frowns or anger, the lock on the cover will not open.
The work was originally was commissioned by the ADCN for the yearly annual of the Art Director Club Netherlands. An annual filled with work that is already judged and awarded, so it’s pointless to have any prejudge.
